Body Modification and the Female Body

Please join us at the Centre for Women’s Studies, University of York for an extra Body Projects panel. Two of our postgraduate students will give papers, followed by discussion and cake! This will offer a preview of  the conference themes or it can be an alternative for those unable to attend on Saturday 9th March.

Getting to the University:

By bus: The best way to get to the University of York campus is by bus.

There are buses from the city centre approximately every 10 minutes during the day, and it takes around 20 minutes to reach the campus.

The 44 and bus services to campus stop at the railway station and in the city centre.

Bus routes and timetables

By bicycle or foot: York is small, and if you are staying in the city this is a good way to get about. Bicycles can be parked on campus.

Getting to Grimston House:

Grimston House is in the main part of campus just off Heslington Road, a short walk from the 4 and 44 bus stops.
